Iron-on-Ink Gnome Bag Tag with Artesprix Sublimation Markers!
Hello everyone!! Happy New Year! Today, I have a fun tag to share with you...and there's a video as well! I really thought I was done with Gnomes...but I really can't help myself. They are just soooooo cute! And these little guys make me happy so why not?!
To create this Artesprix Bag Tag, you will need the following:
- Maple Bag Tag
- Sublimation Stamp Ink Refill - Black
- Pastel Sublimation Markers (my favorite)
- Acrylic Block
- Heat Press or Regular Iron
- Heat Tape
- Protective Paper Roll
- Trinity Gnome Stamp
Step 1. To begin, I used the Maple Bag Tag as a template to trace on white cardstock using a pencil. Pencil does not transfer so do not worry about your pencil marks on your regular copy paper.
Step 2. Next, I stamped Trinity Stamp image onto the plain piece of paper using the Sublimation Ink Pad. The Acrylic Stamp Block allows me to see through while gently pressing allowing me to see when the stamp is nice and inked.
Step 3. Taking my Pastel Sublimation Markers I colored in the image as desired. Be aware that the colors may look a bit muted and that is okay. The colors be extremely vivid and bright after the sublimation process takes place!
Step 4. Using Artesprix Heat Tape, secure the image face down to the Bag Tag. Then, create your Sublimation Sandwich. A Sublimation Sandwich is one piece of Protective Paper sheet on the bottom and one sheet on the top of the project. This way your Heat Press or Home iron is protected from any potential ink being transferred during the sublimation process.
Step 5. Set your Heat Press to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and timer for 45 seconds. Make sure you place your project in your heat source with your image on the top of your Sublimation Sandwich. After your timer has completed, make sure to let your project cool down before touch it.
Step 6. Embellish as desired! Each Bag Tag comes with a plastic loop so it makes it so easy to attach to anything desired.
