What is Sublimation Iron-on-Ink?
It is an interesting and fun product that allows you to create a design on standard copy paper that can then be heat transferred onto surfaces (must have polyester in it or have a polyester coating). Once the project is transferred to the blank, it is lifetime permanent. Before Artesprix, you would need a fancy printer to experience this level of personalization, but not anymore!
Supplies:

Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Step 1: On a craft mat, mix Sublimation Acrylic Lightening Medium White Paint with a few drops of Sublimation Stamp Blue Ink Refill.
Step 2: Use a fan brush to apply ink/paint in a circular pattern onto a piece of copy paper. Allow to dry.
Step 3: Ink a stamp with Blue Sublimation Ink and stamp snowflakes onto paper as desired.
Step 4: Add saying using Sublimation Stamp from Lori's Card Creations in Black Sublimation Ink.
Step 5: Place ornament over the section of paper that you would like to transfer and secure with heat tape.
Step 6: Make a "Sublimation Sandwich" by placing the ornament between two pieces of protective paper bigger than the design.
Step 7: Heat set using appropriate settings for project. These Metal Ornaments call for 75 seconds at 400℉ with medium pressure.
Step 8: After heat set, conduct a "peek test" by taking a look at the image to ensure transfer was successful. The key here is to not remove tape while conducting the "peek test" so you are able to re-heat if necessary.
Step 9: Remove paper to reveal your final design! Repeat the steps above to personalize the other side if desired.
Step 10: Once cooled, tie a ribbon and attach a metal charm to top of ornament.
I really love how vibrant and clear the inked design transferred onto these Metal Ornaments. These would be great to compliment a hostess gift, or how fun these would be for an ornament swap this holiday season. It really demonstrates how exceptional the Artesprix Sublimation products are and I hope you will give them a try very soon! If you're looking for more inspiration, join the Artesprix Facebook Group!
Happy Day!
