What is Sublimation Iron-on-Ink?
Iron-on-Ink is an innovative craft sublimation medium to create unique designs that you can transfer to a endless selection of blanks. You can create some amazing one-of-a-kind gifts that will last a lifetime. When the finished sublimation design is combined with heat and pressure, the ink turns into a gas and binds to the polyester fabric or poly-coated blank leaving you with a permanent transfer. Between Artesprix's plethora of Iron-on-Ink products and the endless amount of compatible sublimation blanks, the possibilities are endless! Iron-on inks are so fabulous because you don’t have to invest in an expensive printer to create some very cool projects right in your home! Plus, if you’re more “hands on” or “hands inky” like me, I feel you can get so much more creative with the Sublimation Inks, Paints and Markers that Artesprix offers.

Step 2: Stamp your image inside the template with Sublimation Stamp Ink. I chose purple for my design.

Step 3: Stamp Blue Sublimation Stamp Pad Ink onto a non porous surface, like a stamping block or a Teflon sheet. Use a wet paint brush to pick up the color and paint the sky behind your stamped design.

Step 4: Repeat Step 3 with other colors. This can also be achieved by using the Sublimation Stamp Ink Refills.
Step 5: Polish off the transfer by using the Fine Tip Sublimation Markers for small details.

Step 6: We are ready to transfer! It is very important that we transfer the design to correct side so we can utilize the adhesive feature later on in the project. Using Heat Tape, secure design to the TEXTURED side.
Step 7: Make a "Sublimation Sandwich". Cut two pieces of Protective Paper, and position your secure blank with the design closest to the heat source, and both pieces of Protective Paper on either side.

Step 8: You’re ready to press! The recommended time and temperature for the Patch is 400 degrees for 60 seconds.

Step 9: Once it’s pressed, you’ll want to carefully do a "peek test", and WOW, do those colors pop! You can now peel off the rest of the paper to reveal your finished project. Check out the before and after photo.

Step 10: Let the patch cool for at least one hour before you apply it to just about any fabric surface. Once cool press into the backside of the patch. Layer as, Protective Paper, Decorated patch face down, fabric patch is being adhered to. Apply at 300 F for 15 seconds.
