Make More Than Just Memories: Simple Sublimation Thanksgiving Projects Your Family Can Do Together

Make your Thanksgiving table one to remember with Iron-on-Ink! From personalized coasters that double as place cards to one-of-a-kind favors guests can take home, there are endless ways to add a creative, custom touch to your holiday gathering. With a little imagination (and a lot of color!), you can transform everyday table essentials into meaningful keepsakes that make everyone feel special.

What is Artesprix Iron-on-Ink?

Artesprix Iron-on-Ink is sublimation ink that lets you design on paper, then use heat (like an iron or heat press) to make your drawing magically move from the paper onto something else, like a bag, coaster, or shirt. Once it’s on there, it’s permanent! This process is known as sublimation, and before Artesprix, you needed fancy equipment to experience this level of personalization, but not anymore!

Supplies, What You'll Need:

Artesprix Iron-on-Ink : Specially formulated Ink that is designed to be used with heat to permanently personalize different materials and objects.

Sublimation Blank : An item that is marketed and manufactured for sublimation, like a mug or coaster. Or an item that has a high polyester fabric count, 60% or more, 100% is best.

Heat Source : If using a small sublimation blank, a handheld heat source is sufficient. If using a larger blank like a t-shirt or tote bag, best practice calls for a heat press.

Heat Tape : Used to secure design to sublimation blank before pressing. Without heat tape you risk your design moving during the sublimation process which causes a ghosting affect (AKA double image).

Protective Paper : An essential tool used to protect work surfaces from "dye-migration". Artesprix inks are powerful, they will go right through the copy paper and onto another surface when heated up. Use Protective Paper on the outside of your project to keep your iron and mat clear from ink marks.
