What is Sublimation Iron-on-Ink? It is an interesting and fun product that allows you to create a design on standard copy paper that can then be heat transferred onto surfaces (must have polyester in it or have a polyester coating). Once the project is transferred to the blank, it is lifetime permanent. Before Artesprix, you would need a fancy printer to experience this level of personalization, but not anymore!
Step 2: Add a few drops of Sublimation Blue and Green Stamp Refill Ink onto the layer of Lightening Medium. Spritz with water.
Step 3: Drag palette knife over paint and ink mixture to blend.
Step 4: Place a piece of copy paper into the wet paint/ink mixture and lift carefully. Allow to dry.
Step 5: Randomly stamp Sublimation Stamps from Emerald Creek across paper using Green Sublimation Stamp Ink.
Step 6: Stamp mini dragonfly design over background with Black Sublimation Stamp Ink.
Step 7: Remove metal white insert from Jewelry Pendant. Place Sublimation Pendant Blank onto inked paper, white side to design, and secure with heat tape.
Step 8: Make a "Sublimation Sandwich" by placing the prepared paper and blank between two pieces of protective paper. Step 9: Heat set according to the specific blank specifications. These metal Jewelry Pendants call for 400℉ for 45 seconds.
Step 10: After heat set, conduct a "peek test" at the transfer and ensure it was successful (do not remove tape until transfer is confirmed). Re-heat if needed.
Step 11: Remove paper to reveal the transfer.
Step 12: Use jewelry tools to attach Split Key Ring with Chain to the Sublimation Pendant.
Step 13: Attach the finished pendant blank onto jewelry base with adhesive provided.
The nifty thing about the Artesprix Jewelry Pendant Blank is that you can use it to create a necklace, charm, or even a Key Chain like I did. So, I hope you will giveArtesprix Sublimation products and blanks a try to create something wonderful! Grab your Jewelry Pendants before the month is over and we make room for August's Blank of the Month. Happy Day! Lori Warren
