SARASOTA, FL (August 28, 2018)—Sarasota-based Artesprix LLC is pleased to announce Artesprix™ Permanent Thermal Transfer Markers have been certified to comply with the following regulation:
ART MATERIALS CERTIFICATION to ASTM D-4236 & CFR1500.14(b)(8) (LHAMA) FOR CHRONIC HAZARDS AND COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE ACT (FHSA) FOR ACUTE HAZARDS
“We couldn’t be more delighted with the ASTM D-4236 certification,” says Tonya Tremitiere, Chief Operating Office of Artesprix, “From the beginning we envisioned these markers in the hands of children, but given the necessary application of heat for the sublimation process, we had to make sure kids will be safe with proper adult supervision.”
The review of the markers was performed in a manner consistent with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) guidelines found in 16CFR1500.135. The CPSC adheres to the product safety requirement intended to be used for children’s product, and the procedures and regulations followed have been filed with the CPSC.
Stringent testing was performed to provide a high degree of assurance that our product, when used as intended, is safe for the end consumer. The product has been classified as follows:
- Not Toxic
- Not a Skin Irritant
- Not an Eye Irritant
- Not Corrosive
- Not a Strong Sensitizer
