Easy & Fun Sublimation DIY Pet Bandana Sublimation Project!
Learn how to design a Halloween themed Pet Bandana using Sublimation Markers
Who is ready for a new season of fun this year? We are so excited for the fall weather, pumpkin picking, and of course Halloween. Even though it may look a bit different this year, we can still celebrate our favorite holidays, pets included! With that said, we wanted to create a fun Custom Pet Bandana with our favorite Artesprix Sublimation Markers! Let’s dive in.
We absolutely love using these Heat Transfer Markers and every time that we create with them we are amazed at the end product!
The bright vivid colors that appear after using the heat press are always a delight to see. We really wanted the bats to POP on this one so we used the pastel orange and green to really enhance the black of the bats. Our dog, Pepper is ready to go for Halloween! Doesn’t she look cute?

Pet Bandana Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Trace your blank onto plain copy paper with a pencil and draw in your bats.
Color in your Custom Pet Bandana design using your Artesprix heat sublimation markers.
Pro Tip: Add in designs to the background to enhance your design. The more color, the better!
Preheat your Artesprix Heat Press to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Secure your design (face-down) to the front side of your Custom Pet Bandana Blank with Artesprix Heat Tape.
Leave at least 1-2 inches of space around the traced area so the tape does not so you have room to place the heat tape accordingly. Just remember, anywhere you place the tape heat your design will not transfer through thoroughly. Artesprix Heat Tape can also be used to fix any “oopsie,” on your design before transferred. Simply place a piece of tape over your, “oopsie,” and it will not transfer to your blank.
Create a “Sublimation Sandwich,” and place your blank (Custom Pet Bandana) between two pieces of protective paper.
Set your Artesprix press timer for 30 seconds and place your Custom Pet Bandana design face down on the top of your Sublimation Sandwich in the Artesprix Heat Press.
After your timer has gone off take out your Artesprix DIY Pet Bandana. Be sure to handle with care, the blanks after pressing can be very hot!
Pro Tip: Be sure to turn off your heat source.
