Floral Wings Textured Coasters with Iron-on-Ink

Hello all, creating this trio of stamped Sublimation Textured Coasters was a pure delight! It was a pleasure because not only did I get to play with the Artexprix Textured Coasters, but I was able to use my favorite Artesprix Stamp Refill Ink watercolor technique with the Pink & Main Floral Stamp set images. What a beautiful combination this turned out to be, and it is easy to replicate, so I hope you will give this project a try!

What is Sublimation Iron-on-Ink?
It is an interesting and fun product that allows you to create a design on standard copy paper that can then be heat transferred onto surfaces (must have polyester in it or have a polyester coating). Once the project is transferred to the blank, it is lifetime permanent. Before Artesprix, you would need a fancy printer to experience this level of personalization, but not anymore!

Step-by-Step Tutorial:

Step 3: Using a stamp positioner, align the Dragon Fly Floral Wing stamp within the penciled outline and stamp with Black Sublimation Ink.

Step 4: We need any text to be mirrored in our design. Determine the placement of your text before Step 5 by placing the non-inked stamp where intended.

Step 5: On the left side of stamp press, place the Artesprix Mirror Stamp Plate into position to accommodate the traditional text stamp on the right side in Step 4.
Step 6: Carefully close the stamp positioner, adhering the text stamp onto Mirror Stamp Plate in the intended location.

Step 7: Now that everything is in position, in the stamp positioner, ink the text stamp on the left side with black stamp ink, and close to imprint onto the paper where desired.

Step 11: Make a "Sublimation Sandwich" by placing the secured project between two pieces of protective paper larger that your design.
Step 12: Transfer using appropriate settings for the blank material. Textured Coasters call for 400℉, with a transfer time of 90 seconds.

Step 13: After heat set, take-a-peek at the transfer to ensure it was successful (do not remove tape until transfer is confirmed). Re-heat if needed.

Step 15: Repeat steps above with different Floral Wing stamps and Iron-on-Ink colors.
