Hello Spring Artesprix Towel
Good morning. Nicole here! I'm excited to share this adorable Poly Towel I created using Artesprix's Sublimation Markers and the Sublimation Ink Pad that is available in the shop. I'm still creating Spring related projects until we have some nicer weather! A girl can dream, right!? Spring is literally around the corner! :)
Materials:
Blank of the Month Poly Towel
Trinity Stamps Best Place to Be Stamp Set
Plain Copy Paper
Light Box
Pencil
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Step 1: Using PicMonkey, create your text and images and print them on copy paper.
Tip: Set your heat press at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 seconds before you start working on your Poly Towel. That way, the heat press will be hot enough to sublimate your images when you are finished. :)
Step 2: Flip sentiment so that it is backwards and then use Light Box and Black Sublimation Ink to trace the image onto another piece of copy paper.
Step 3: Using the Sublimation Ink Pad, stamp your image above text. Then color in the images using Sublimation Markers.
Step 4: Using heat tape, tape down the paper, image facing down onto the Poly Towel.
Step 4: Place a piece of Protective Paper at the top and bottom of your Poly Towel. Place your "Sublimation Sandwich" inside the heat press for 45 seconds at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure image is facing up.*
Step 5: Carefully, remove project from heat press using gloves. Then place the Poly Towel onto the Project Mat to cool down. Then, remove the paper and heat tape to reveal your vivid designs!
