SARASOTA, FL (May 7, 2021)—Sarasota-based Artesprix LLC announced the addition of three new design team members today.
Tanya Ruffin has been creating art her entire life, including fine art, laser cutter art, mosaics, journals, resin art, dye sublimation, vinyl crafts, watercolor, metal stamping, and others. She holds a degree in fine arts and is an experienced art teacher, having owned a teaching studio for ten years.
“Any art tool that allows people be more creative at expressing themselves is something I gravitate to,” says Ruffin. “The sublimation markers allow anyone to create their own original artwork and transfer to any substrate! This really changes the “home-made” gift game.”
“As an art educator,” continues Ruffin, “Artesprix will definitely be added to some of my classes. I’ve pulled out my old sketchbooks and have begun choosing which of my art pieces will look great using the markers. So far, the fine tip black marker is my favorite!! As you can tell, I am excited to be on the Artesprix design team!”
Sarah Clark bought her first Silhouette Cameo six years ago and never looked back. She uses her several Silhouette machines to create paper crafts, adhesive vinyl, heat transfer vinyl and faux leather. She also does metal and acrylic etching and leather tooling. Sarah is a licensed silhouette instructor for Terri Johnson Creates.
“I’m incredibly honored to be a part of this amazingly talented team,” says Clark, “I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with you all for the next six months. Thank you to Artesprix for giving me such an amazing opportunity! I’m so excited to see all the amazing creations made with these fantastic Artesprix products.”
Rita Barakat is a mixed-media artist who teaches, writes, and presents. She enjoys everything from canvas to art journaling, clothing decoration to furniture walls. Rita has previously licensed her art with several prominent companies.
“In my work,” explains Barakat, “I hope you will find encouragement and a little whimsy. I am passionate about art and believe that we are all creative in our own way. I love sharing the joy of art with others! I am so excited to be joining the Artesprix team!”
Tanya, Sarah, and Rita join veteran design team member, Nicole Martel, who has served on the Artesprix Design Team from the beginning: “I’ve been on many design teams in the past 15 years, and I must say, being on the Artesprix team has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had,” says Martel. “I have enjoyed working closely with Ashley and Allison for the past year. They are awesome. I love that they are very organized, and the company is so generous! Thank you Artesprix for welcoming me back for another term!”
“We’re so happy for this opportunity to work with Tanya, Sarah, and Rita,” says Ashley Nace, Director of Sales and Marketing for Artesprix. “With Nicole staying for a third term we couldn’t ask for a better group of ambassadors for Artesprix and our product line.”
Artesprix’s design team members come from the community of artists and crafters who use Artesprix products to create their art. They serve a fixed term of six months. Tanya, Sarah, and Rita will begin their tenure on the design team in May.
