Bring your ideas to life! Artesprix Sublimation Markers, the original sublimation markers, were launched by Artesprix in 2018. This set of ten sublimation markers is the only set of colors that includes a black marker along with all the colors of the rainbow for maximum color effect.

Available in:

  • Basic Chisel Colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Gray, Pink, Purple, Brown, Black
  • Pastel Chisel Colors: Blush, Tangerine, Goldenrod, Periwinkle, Seafoam, Sky, Mint, Thistle, Peach, Fog

  • Bold Chisel Colors: Navy, Royal (Blue), Plum, Violet, Cinnamon (Brown), Ruby, Blaze (Burnt Orange), Marigold, Pine, Teal

  • Basic Fine Colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Gray, Pink, Purple, Brown, Black

Sublimation markers are designed to allow you to add your personal touch to everyday items such as apparel and décor using the dye sublimation heat transfer process:

Sublimation is the process of converting something from a solid to a gaseous form. Dye sublimation converts dye-based ink to a gas that dyes polyester. Designs drawn on plain paper with our markers are then heated with a craft iron or heat press to temperatures around 400° F. At that temperature, the ink converts to a gas and stains the blanks creating a lasting design.

Most of my markers were dried out.

I couldn’t color anything bigger than an inch because the marker would stop flowing. I ruined multiple blanks because the ink would not transfer. Also the ink pad is not made for a Misti.. The pad is so thin that is extremely hard to ink the stamps in the Misti. You need to use an acrylic block and move the stamp to the ink pad instead of trying to hold it. I was so excited to try these since I have a ton of acrylic stamps but it was very disappointing. I spent way too much money on all of the items and should have listened when people tried to warn me.

Hi Jill, Thank you for your order. We are apologetic that you are not finding success with our products. We are here to help every step of the way! A couple of things to assist:

Storage of our Sublimation Markers is extremely important. Sounds like your marker could have been tip up in shipping/transit and therefore appeared "dried out". Put your markers tip down overnight and it will bring them to life! There is enough ink in every marker to draw a straight line over 4 football fields long.
We have not run into any issues using our Sublimation Ink Pad with a Stamping Platform like the MISTI. If you search MISTI on our website all the tutorials using the MISTI will appear. Each tutorial has step-by-step photos to assist. Our Ink Pads are made domestically by a renowned paper crafting product company so it is no different than many other pads on the market, except it has magical ink in it. :)
The "off" color in the final transfer sounds like a pressure issue. Heat is important, but pressure is also equally as important. Ensure your project is also positioned correctly. A very common mistake is to put the project under the Heat Press upside down. If you are using a handheld press, firmly add pressure consistently for the full transfer time. This should resolve the issue.
Please refer to our step-by-step tutorials for the blank or ink you are working with. Each tutorial has a step called the "peek test". Before removing any Heat Tape/project out of place, lift up a corner of the project and confirm your transfer was successful. If it was not, check time, temperature, pressure, and how your project was positioned and re-pressed. If there is ink on the paper there is no reason why it would not transfer to a sublimation blank unless one of those factors did not meet the required level needed for the color to turn into a gas and back into a solid on the blank successfully. If you always do a "peek test" there should never be any "ruined" blanks.
We hope this helps answer your concerns. We also have a Facebook Group to support you as well. We would love to see pictures of what you are referencing above so we can assist personally and in more detail to your specific project. For example, what blank are you using? What Heat source are you using? We are happy to help! Please contact us at info@artesprix.com for further support. Additionally the items listed above can be found on our FAQ page as well as on our "Heat Transfer Tip" & "Sublimation Project Help" page.

Happy Crafting and thank you for your valued business! We look forward to hearing how these suggested solutions worked out for you. :)

    So much fun!

I have never used sublimation markers before and I am not an artist, and not the best colorer and I was worried that the design I used would come out looking messy but I was completely wrong. I made a mousepad and it came out perfect.
