Step-by-Step Tutorial:

Step 1: Put blank front-side down and trace with a pencil on a piece of standard copy paper.

Pro Tip: (For Paper Crafters!) After trial and error, I found that the best size to use for the canvas bag blank is a standard A2 size card base (5 ½ in x 4 ¼ in). Card-makers can take full advantage of those larger background stamps and stand-alone dies that are meant to cover a card front. What a great way to stretch your stash!

Step 2: Use the Artesprix Sublimation Stamps Block Alphabet Stamp to spell out “HELLO RELIEF”. Omit the "O" in "HELLO" if you have a stethoscope stamp to use the Bell it its place.

Step 3: Because there is a double letter “LL” in HELLO, use a stamp positioner which will allow you to accommodate space for space. Move the "L" over and THEN remove all the other letters and stamp the L to complete the word.

Step 4: Continue to create stamped designs directly on the same piece of paper or use separate pieces to later transfer as desired.

Step 5: Color in the stamped designs using Artesprix Sublimation Markers. I used a mixture of pastel and bold.

Pro Tip #2: This is a good time to double-check that your words read as expected.  Hold up to light and you can see what the image will look like before you sublimate.

Step 6: Place the paper you just “decorated” after allowing to fully dry, face down on your blank, the Canvas Zip Case and secure in place with Heat Tape.

Pro Tip #3: Cut out or use small pieces of heat tape to secure, so the letters were a little more straight across.

Step 7: Make your "sublimation sandwich". Cut three pieces of protective paper. Place one in between the Canvas Zip Case, and the others on the top and bottom.

Step 8: If using a handheld heat source like me, place your layered project on top of your Artesprix Protective Project Mat. Press at 400℉ for 45 seconds using firm pressure.

Step 9: After the 45 seconds is up, do a "peek test". I carefully lifted a corner of my design without removing any tape and decided to re-press. Be mindful of the zipper and ensure it is not under your heat platen as it could affect the pressure.

Step 10: Once you have confirmed your transfer was successful, reveal your unique and vivid design. Allow blank to cool before transferring to the opposite side.
