June Garden Stake Bouquet with Iron-on-Ink
Hello all, Designer Lori here. I opted for a different take on this Month’s Blank of the Month Garden Stakes by creating a Lollipop Bouquet/ Take it a step further by adding a coordinating stamped Sublimation Ribbon (Blank of the Month December 2022). The Sublimation Garden Stake and Ribbon work together to create a unique gift that is sure to impress your work mates. Almost all ribbon is 100% polyester, which is perfect for sublimation. Check out the instructions and Mixed Media Quick Tips Video below for the step by steps.

What is Sublimation Iron-on-Ink?
It is a new & fun craft ink that allows you to create a sublimation design on standard copy paper that can then be heat transferred sublimation-ready blanks. Once the project is transferred to the blank, it is lifetime permanent. Before Artesprix, you would need a fancy printer to experience this level of personalization, but not anymore! Between their markers, stamp pads, and paints, you will never run out of ideas, I haven't!

Step-by-Step Tutorial:
Step 1: Measure the garden stake design area to create your template.
Pro Tip #1: You can also reference the website or packaging.
Step 2: Using the Cricut Canvas program, create a phrase and flip to reverse the image. Load copy paper into machine.
Step 3: Using the draw feature on the Cricut using a 0.4 Black Tip Cricut Marker.
Pro Tip #2: If you are using the Cricut Joy, you can insert Artesprix Basic Fine Tip Sublimation Markers and use the draw feature.
Step 4: Unload your copy paper & finished design. Trace the Garden Stake shape over the phrase with a pencil.
Step 5: Color in the words of the phrase with Artesprix Sublimation Markers.
Step 6: Stamp a dot pattern onto the paper with Sublimation Stamp ink.
Step 7: Place Garden Stake onto finished design and secure with heat tape.
Step 8: Make a "Sublimation Sandwich" by placing the Garden Stake between two pieces of protective paper.
Step 9: Heat set using appropriate settings for the blank/material. This metal garden stake calls for 90 seconds at 400℉.
Step 10: Carefully "take-a-peek" at the transfer to ensure transfer was successful (do not remove tape until transfer is confirmed). Re-heat if needed.
Step 11: Remove paper to reveal the transferred design.
Optional:
Step 12: Repeat stamp process onto Sublimation Ribbon blank.
Step 13: Place DryFom into a garden pot and insert “Dum-Dums” to create a bouquet of lollipops.
Step 14: Insert Garden Stake into the bouquet and tie the ribbon around the garden pot.
